Bird Scarers

Are the bane of my life. They wake me up, they make me jump. Hate 'em. If you feel same, you might like to be aware of 2 things:

1. The NFU has a Code of Practice which farmers should abide by. However, I can't find it anywhere on the web, so I've reproduced it on a page on my site.
2. If the farmer fails to stick to the code of practice you can report them to the Environmental Protection group at the local council. They must take action. I've copied the text of a letter from Michael Meacher, Minister for the Environment, to my MP which makes this clear. Hope it's helpful.
