The BT phone Box on Lower Street has been formally adopted by the Parish Council due to overwhelming demand by local residents to retain the kiosk for purely heritage reasons. The payphone mechanism is to be removed in due course by BT so it will be an empty box with a light supply. The maintenance of the box will be undertaken by the Parish Council. We need to decide in due course what to use it for - if anything -. Perhaps you would like to see it used for advertising? Or should it be locked?
